I’m not afraid of a challenge

This summer I spent 16 days swimming the full 80 miles of the River Eden from source to sea. The purpose was to draw attention to the inexcusable release of sewage into our rivers by water companies and collecting rubbish as we travelled. With two friends we went from the fells of Mallerstang through the Eden Valley to the Solway Plain.

This was a significant logistical and physical challenge. If elected I will bring these same skills to being your MP.
